What if a person's religion requires an act that the government considers illegal?
Which is more important-obeying the laws of one's country or one's religion?
In my opnion, if we meet the situation of confrontation between law and religious fatih, we have to consider that law is more important than each person's religious faith. Most countries have their own law to retain the system in thier society . By obeying our law in country, we can enjoy civil rights and keep the integration under the dealing people with equlity.
Although it exists another case that one country has each of their state laws such as the USA, most countries are managed by one law whether federal or central law. However, it can be possible that one contry have a lot of regilion. Many countryies have a problem which is struggled with thier law and religious faith.
Let's assume the extreme case that one religion forces their believer to kill people who believe other religion. Most countries government consider that this behavior is illegal. In addition, the goverment might prohibit this kind of religious behavior becasue that we normally consider that each person's life is more important than indiviual religious faith. Sometimes, religion forces thier particular faith for believer to do. However, the law is made by under the common sense and principle. So, the law is appled to most people and our behavior is judged by law because that we consider that the law is underlying basis for judgement.
